Bishop Michael Burbidge, Bishop of Arlington, invites you to join him at the final celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of Arlington by participating in the Diocesan Golden Jubilee Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.
Holy Trinity is taking a bus to the Basilica, please click HERE to reserve a seat!
After what has been an exciting three years of preparation, we will continue to focus on our theme of Renew as we prayerfully gather as one diocesan family within the Shrine devoted to Our Lady.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend this free event! Many parishes are organizing groups to attend together, so contact your parish office for more information. Individual pilgrims and families are welcomed to participate on their own and there is no registration required to attend.
The cafeteria at the Shrine will be available to purchase lunch, there are local restaurants, or visitors can bring their own bagged lunch and leave it in their vehicle until lunch time.
The Shrine is wheelchair accessible and there will be sign interpreting in ASL for the deaf. For more information about the Shrine, feel free to visit their website.
