We hope all of our mothers had a holy and joyful day last Sunday!
Please keep our youngsters in your prayers this month as we begin First Holy Communions at our Sunday Masses over the next few weekends. There will be about five children at each Mass. We found this method worked very well over the last two years.
Also, Archbishop Broglio will be here on May 24 and May 25 to confirm over 100 of our students. Please keep all of our confirmandi in your prayers as they receive the Holy Spirit. May they always remain strong and courageous in the Faith!
Speaking of motherhood, most of us are aware that a draft decision of the Supreme Court re: overturning Roe vs. Wade was leaked last week. It is surprising that two ‘Catholic’ justices voted NOT to overturn abortion on demand in our country – Roe vs. Wade allows for abortion up to birth.
Perhaps, it would be good for us in the month of the Mother of God to offer five decades of the Rosary every day for the five Supreme Court Justices in the majority to remain firm in the face of political pressure.
In the draft decision by Justice Alito he argues clearly that Roe vs. Wade’s basic premise has no foundation in the Constitution of the United States.
It is a tragic scandal that two leading ‘Catholic’ politicians – the President and Speaker of the House – both spoke strongly that a woman should be able to kill her baby. How any Catholic could say such a thing is incredibly heartless and a contradiction to the Catholic Faith. It is unloving to the mother and the child. A child is an innocent human person created by God with a God-given dignity. Regardless of circumstances, to kill an innocent human person is murder
In light of the draft decision, certain corporations have promised women to provide money and travel for abortions. Among the group: Amazon, Apple and Tesla. An interesting perspective I heard – which takes me back to communist regimes: maternity leave costs the company. A ‘working’ woman produces for the company. So, is it really about the rights and freedom of the woman?
May each of us storm heaven imploring the protection and intercession of Our Lady in her month of May!

Este mes, por favor pongan en oración a nuestros niños que comenzarán a recibir su Primera Comunión durante las Misas dominicales de los próximos fines de semana. Tendremos alrededor de cinco niños en cada Misa. En los últimos dos años hemos encontrado que este método funciona bien
También, el Arzobispo Broglio estará aquí el 24 y 25 de mayo Confirmando a más de 100 de nuestros estudiantes. Por favor tengan a nuestros jóvenes en sus oraciones ahora que recibirán al Espíritu Santo. ¡Que siempre se mantengan fuertes y valientes en la Fé!
Hablando de maternidad, la mayoría de nosotros estamos al tanto del borrador de la decisión de la Corte de Suprema en cuanto a derrocar Roe vs Wade que fue filtrado la semana pasada. Es sorprendente que dos jueces ‘católicos’ hayan votado NO a la decisión de revertir el aborto por demanda en nuestro país – Roe vs Wade permite el aborto hasta el momento del nacimiento
Tal vez, sería bueno que en este mes de la Madre de Dios ofrezcamos cinco décadas del Rosario diarias por los cinco jueces de la Corte Suprema de Justicia para que en su mayoría se mantengan firmes frente a la presión política

Como puede algún católico decir tal cosa increíblemente cruel y contraria a la Fé católica. Es desalmado para la mamá y el niño. Un niño es un inocente ser humano creado por Dios con dignidad otorgada por Dios. Sin importar las circunstancias, matar a un ser humano inocente es asesinato.
A raíz del borrador de la decisión, ciertas corporaciones le han prometido a las mujeres proveerlas con dinero y viajes para hacerse abortos. Entre esos grupos: Amazon, Apple and Tesla. Una perspectiva interesante que escuché – la cual me lleva a régimen comunistas: el permiso de maternidad le cuesta dinero a la compañía. Una mujer ‘trabajadora’ le produce a la compañía. Así que, ¿es realmente acerca de la libertad de la mujer
¡Ojalá que cada uno de nosotros invada con oraciones el Cielo implorando por la protección e intercesión de Nuestra Señora durante el Mes de Mayo!
